This project is part of the series of “The garden of the XXI century” led by the Chair of Being Alive at ETH Zurich. Located in Huertos Familiares, Tiltil, a “sacrifice zone” in Chile due to its heavy industries, this project investigates how soil modification through changes in land management practices can build ecological and social capacities in the community, and create possibilities for a new type of public garden to emerge in the community of Tiltil.
